Corrections

The Record

When we get something wrong, we say so on the record. We do not silently edit history.

Insanity Wolf treats material errors as a public matter. If a fact in an investigation is wrong, the correction is logged here in plain language. The original piece is updated with a visible note at the top, and the dated entry below records what changed and why.

Standard for a correction

A correction is issued when a published statement of fact is materially inaccurate, when a citation links to the wrong source, when a number is misreported, or when a name, date, or location is misstated. Stylistic edits, typo fixes, and copy polish are not corrections; only the substantive record is logged.

How to request one

Write to corrections@insanitywolf.com with the URL of the piece, the specific claim, and the source that contradicts it. We respond within seven days. If a correction is warranted, it is published here within the same week.
