The Mini Griptilian is the knife Benchmade built its reputation on, and this is the configuration worth chasing: a sheepsfoot blade ground from CPM-S30V, fully serrated, finished in matte black. The sheepsfoot drops the point for control; the serrations bite rope and webbing the way a plain edge never will; S30V holds it all longer than the steel Benchmade ships on the current line. The AXIS lock runs ambidextrous, drops shut with a flick, and never wears into play.

The 555SBK-S30V is a discontinued specification, which is exactly why it is here. It does not look like inventory. It looks like the version collectors went looking for after Benchmade stopped making it. Inspected and Wolf Certified.
